Positive Wave is a Finnish progressive rock band that brings together musical influences from diverse fields: Finnish forests and mystic soundscapes, progressive folk rock tradition, psychedelic experimentation of the 1970s as well as rhythmic groove with flavors from world music and jazz. The group navigates these various themes and elements with the support of a female vocalist Susan Karttunen’s penetrating and tone-rich voice.
